🛠️ Update: Staff Ping Improvements We’ve improved Alpha Bot’s Block Staff Pings system! ✅ Members can now reply directly to staff messages without being blocked. ✅ Manual @mentions of staff members are still blocked. ✅ Protected staff roles are still protected. ✅ Existing warnings, logging, and automod actions remain unchanged. This makes conversations with staff much more natural while still preventing unnecessary staff pings.

We’ve made another quality-of-life improvement to Alpha Bot’s Auto Moderation system!
đź’¬ Reply to Staff Without Issues
Previously, replying to a staff member’s message could trigger the Block Staff Pings automod feature because Discord treats replies as mentions.
That has now been fixed!
✅ What’s Changed
• Members can now reply directly to staff messages without their message being removed.
• Manual @mentions of staff members are still blocked in protected channels.
• Protected staff role mentions (such as @Staff or @Moderator) are still blocked.
• Warnings, moderation logs, and automod actions continue to work exactly as before.
This update keeps staff protected from unnecessary pings while allowing members to have smoother, more natural conversations when responding to staff.
