📢 Alpha Bot Update – Automatic Announcement Pings We've rolled out another quality-of-life update to make announcements faster and easier for server staff. 🚀 What's New? ✅ Automatic Announcement Role Pings The /announce command now automatically checks your dashboard settings for an Announcement Ping Role. If an Announcement Ping Role is configured, the bot will automatically ping that role whenever an announcement is posted. If no role is configured, the announcement will still be posted normally without attempting to ping anyone. No more remembering to enable a ping option every time you create an announcement. ⚙️ Dashboard Improvements We've standardized how announcement settings are handled behind the scenes. This update ensures: Announcement Channel settings save correctly. Announcement Ping Role settings save correctly. Both announcement systems now use the same configured Announcement Ping Role. Improved consistency between dashboard settings and Discord commands. 🛠 Reliability Improvements We've also made several improvements to the announcement system itself: Better validation of configured announcement channels. Improved role detection before sending announcements. More reliable announcement delivery. Cleaner handling when no announcement role has been configured.
