Alpha Bot v6.0.28 Update
Version 6.0.28
🎟️ Ticket System Update The Alpha Bot ticket system now supports custom routing for every ticket type. Each ticket type can now have: | Its own ticket category | Its own allowed support roles | Multiple support roles selected | Separate access and response permissions This makes it possible to send Management, Store, Support, Department, or other tickets to completely different categories while limiting access to only the correct staff roles. Existing ticket types will continue using the default ticket category and global staff roles until custom settings are selected.
🎟️ Alpha Bot Ticket System Update
We have completed a major upgrade to the Alpha Bot ticket system, giving server owners much greater control over how each ticket type is created, organized, and managed.
Previously, every ticket type used the same global ticket category and the same global staff roles. With this update, every ticket type can now have its own individual routing and permissions.
New Ticket Type Settings
Each ticket type can now be configured with:
| A unique ticket category
| One or multiple allowed support roles
| Its own button ID, label, and style
| Separate staff access permissions
For example:
| Store tickets can be sent to a Store Support category
| Management tickets can be sent to a private Management category
| Department tickets can be restricted to department leadership
| General support tickets can continue using the default support category
Multiple Support Roles
The dashboard now includes a custom multi-role dropdown.
You can open the dropdown and select every role that should be allowed to:
| View the ticket
| Respond inside the ticket
| Claim the ticket
| Change its priority
| Close the ticket
You no longer need to hold Ctrl or Command to select multiple roles.
Independent Ticket Categories
Every ticket type now saves its own category independently.
Changing the category for one ticket type will no longer affect the other ticket types. Each ticket will be created under the exact category selected for that specific button.
Backward Compatibility
Existing server configurations will continue working.
If a custom category is not selected, Alpha Bot will use the global default ticket category.
If no custom support roles are selected, Alpha Bot will use the global staff roles already configured for the server.
Database and Restart Support
The selected ticket type, category, and allowed roles are now stored with the ticket data.
This allows Alpha Bot to restore the correct ticket permissions and settings after a bot restart without losing the ticket’s routing information.
This update gives communities the ability to build fully separated support departments while continuing to manage everything through the Alpha Bot dashboard.
