🛡️ Alpha Bot Update — Advanced Audit & Logging Center We're excited to introduce a major new feature to Alpha Bot: the Full Audit & Logging System! Server owners and staff can now get a much clearer picture of exactly what's happening throughout their Discord server—all from one centralized system. 🔍 Full Server Auditing The new system can monitor and record activity including: 🔹 Roles created, deleted, renamed, or updated 🔹 Roles added to or removed from members 🔹 Who performed role changes 🔹 Member nickname and timeout changes 🔹 Member joins and leaves 🔹 Kicks, bans, and unbans 🔹 Message edits and deletions 🔹 Bulk message deletions 🔹 Channel creation, deletion, and updates 🔹 Voice joins, leaves, and moves 🔹 Invite activity 🔹 Webhook changes 🔹 Thread activity 🔹 Emoji and sticker changes 🔹 Server setting changes 🔹 Integration activity 🔹 Alpha Bot automated actions 🤖 Alpha Bot Action Tracking One of the biggest additions is internal Alpha Bot action tracking. When Alpha Bot adds or removes a role, the audit system can identify the feature responsible for the action instead of simply showing that "Alpha Bot" changed it. This includes systems such as: Verification • Reaction/Claim Roles • Applications • Temporary Roles • Twitch Roles • Birthdays • Anniversaries When available, logs can include the source feature, reason, affected member, role, executor, and triggering user. If Discord reports that Alpha Bot performed a role action but the bot cannot match it to one of its registered internal actions, the event can be flagged as an Unrecognized Alpha Bot Action for easier investigation. 🖥️ New Audit Dashboard We've also added a completely new Audit & Logging Center to the Alpha Bot dashboard. Server owners can configure which audit categories they want enabled, choose a default logging channel, assign different Discord channels to individual categories, ignore specific channels or roles, and search previously recorded audit events. The interface has been built to match the existing Alpha Bot theme, including custom Alpha-styled dropdowns and multi-select controls. 🗃️ Audit History Audit history is automatically stored using Alpha Bot's existing Database system. Server owners can choose between: 7 Days • 14 Days • 30 Days No database configuration or separate storage setup is required. 🔐 Important THE AUDIT SYSTEM DOES NOT GIVE ALPHA BOT PERMISSION TO RANDOMLY ADD OR REMOVE ROLES. The Audit System is designed to observe and record activity. Alpha Bot will only modify roles when another enabled/configured feature specifically requires it. This update gives server owners significantly more visibility into what changed, who changed it, when it happened, and why Alpha Bot performed an automated action.
